Dr. Scheitel is a second generation chiropractor. He and his father, as well as a brother, sister and brother-in-law, all chose the profession of chiropractic because of a strong belief in the benefits of this healing art.

Dr. Eric Scheitel DC was born in Davenport, Iowa on June 2, 1955. He graduated from Columbia State Community College in Columbia, Tennessee with an associate of science degree. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, in 1979. In 1980, he was licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of Tennessee and began practicing with his father at 101.5 Experiment Station Lane in Columbia. He practiced there until his move in December of 2015 to his new location. Upon licensing with the state of Tennessee, he joined the American Chiropractic Association and the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. He served on the council on reoentgenology in the ACA and the insurance committee, legislative committee, and peer review committee with the TCA. He has extensive hours in post graduate education including physical therapy, chiropractic orthopedics, extremity adjusting, and impairment rating.
